Accordion-pleated ribbon décor in rows covering the entire surface on a large red rose background. There are three bands on the front with pearl embroidery décor imitating ribbons. There is pearl needlework imitating ribbon rosettes on two corners of the apron.

New wife’s costume from Kalotaszentkirály

Region: Kalotaszentkirály
Chignon holding tulle anglais veil embroidered on its sides and on the opposite ends fixed to a soft and richly embroidered headdress with veil needles. The knitted blouse is made of fine linen and embroidered with red yarn; the black embroidered vest is made of leather. The underskirt is made of white frill linen; the wraparound skirt, the muszuj, made of black satin cloth, is pinned up on both sides and edged with red cloth at the bottom. An accordion-pleated apron is decorated with ribbon and sewn-down décor at the waistline; it is worn over the muszuj. A fringed cashmere handkerchief is held in the hand. The silk pompon hangs off in the front.

Bride’s costume from Szék

A single braid of hair hangs off at the back. A bride’s wedding headdress made of rosemary and leaf gold decorated with red ribbons is on the head. The blouse is made of cotton linen; it has accordion-pleated sleeves and neck. The sleeves are also stiffened and the entire garment is accordion pleated. A silk pomponed velvet waistcoat and fringy wool shawl are worn over the blouse. The skirt is made of green chequered cloth, and an accordion pleated apron made of white silk is worn over the skirt. Copper-plated black boots with embroidered heels and red edges are on the feet.

Groom’s costume from Szék

A wool hat is on the head and a rosette made of rosemary and leaf gold decorated with red ribbons is affixed to its front. The shirt is made of cotton linen; it has accordion-pleated sleeves and neck. The sleeves are also stiffened. The waistcoat is made of blue cloth and decorated with metal buttons. Breeches and hard-shaft boots also complete the groom’s costume.

Lad’s costume from Válaszút

A felt hat is on the head. The cotton linen shirt is hem-stitched and closes with colored buttons. The vest is made of wool and is pearl-embroidered with edges imitating black fur on the sides. The cloth trousers are made of ványolt cloth and are affixed to the waist with a riveted belt. Black boots are on the feet.

The shirt is made of white linen and has appliquéd trimming on its cuffs. The red vest with an outward cut is made of cloth. It is decorated and edged with braiding. Each side is decorated with five buttons.

The ceremonial bodice is made of cashmere with tiny flower patterns on a black basis and it is decorated with velvet, pleated at the waistline and has frills. There is red button closing in its front. The apron is made of accordion-pleated cotton cloth. The skirt is made of accordion-pleated flannel.

The bodice is made of irisated cloth. Its front, bottom and cuffs are edged with black velvet. The gathered skirt is black and adorned with red patterns. There is an accordion-pleated cretonne apron with dark color tone worn over the skirt.

Man’s costume from Nagykend

Region: Nagykend
Ceremonial shirt made of cotton linen of which the sleeve ends are accordion-pleated and decorated with white embroidery. There is a vest worn over it which is made of blue cloth and decorated with silver buttons and black cloth appliquéd trimming on the neckline.

Lad’s costume from Szék

A Szék-style straw-hat is on the head. The cotton linen shirt with accordion-pleated sleeves is embroidered with black. There is a plum blue cloth vest with metal buttons worn over it. The double ványolt cloth trousers are brown, and the belt is riveted. Black leather boots with arched shaft ends are on the feet.
